Step back in time to the origins of the largest empire in pre-Columbian America with this Titicaca Lake & Isla del Sol Catamaran Tour. You'll cross the waters of the freshwater lake to visit the legendary birthplace of the Inca gods.

Titicaca Lake & Isla del Sol Catamaran Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Puno, we'll head south to cross the border with Bolivia to get to Copacabana. Before leaving for Isla del Sol, we'll visit the Copacabana Sanctuary. At the port of Copacabana, we'll board a catamaran to cross Lake Titicaca to Isla del Sol. A snack will be provided on board.

We'll disembark in Yumani at the southern tip of Isla del Sol and explore the area considered the cradle of the gods linked to the Inca Empire. This includes the archaeological remains, the Inca Garden, and the Inca Staircase leading to the Sacred Fountain, known for its supposed healing properties.

Next, we'll visit the Inti Wata Complex, which includes the Ekako underground museum, the Traditional Medicine and Totora Raft Construction Centers, a handicraft center, and a Botanical Garden of Inca agriculture.

After exploring, we'll return to Yumani to board the catamaran back to Copacabana, where a delicious buffet lunch will be served on board, including various dishes. After lunch, we’ll return to the hotels in Puno, completing the tour in approximately 11 hours.

Tour Ending in La Paz

When booking, you can opt for a tour ending in La Paz. In this case, we will take a bus from Copacabana to La Paz, concluding the tour around 7 pm.
