Step back in time to the origins of the largest empire in pre-Columbian America with this Titicaca Lake & Isla del Sol Catamaran Tour. You'll cross the waters of the freshwater lake to visit the legendary birthplace of the Inca gods.

Titicaca Lake & Isla del Sol Catamaran Tour

This tour begins with hotel pickup in Puno, followed by travel south to cross the border into Bolivia, reaching Copacabana. At the Copacabana Sanctuary, we will board a catamaran for a journey across Lake Titicaca to Isla del Sol, where a snack will be provided on board.

Upon arrival in Yumani at the southern tip of Isla del Sol, we will explore the archaeological remains linked to the Inca Empire's origins, including the Inca Garden terraces. The tour includes a climb up the Inca Staircase to the Sacred Fountain, known for its perceived healing properties.

Next, we will visit the Inti Wata Complex, Bolivia's main private tourist attraction accessible via catamaran. The complex features the Ekako underground museum, Traditional Medicine and Totora Raft Construction Centers, a handicraft center, and a Botanical Garden of Inca agriculture.

After exploring Inca civilization, we will return to Yumani, boarding the catamaran for the trip back to Copacabana, where a buffet lunch will be served. This meal consists of quinoa soup, salads, trout or chicken with side dishes, and dessert.

The tour concludes with a return to hotels in Puno, approximately 11 hours after departure.
