Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Puno at the designated time, we will head to the dock where the boat awaits. Discover the famous Uros Islands!

We will board a traditional boat made of reeds crafted by local indigenous communities. We will explain how these boats are constructed while enjoying a tour of Lake Titicaca.

During the one-hour journey, we will observe endemic birds and scenic views until we arrive at the artificial islands of the Uros, which are constructed from the same material as the boats.

Upon arrival, we’ll conduct a walking tour of the islands to learn about the locals' lifestyle, traditions, artisan work, and customs. It promises to be an unforgettable experience!

After about an hour and a half, we will return to the boat and journey back, arriving at your hotel by 12:30 pm.

Pickup Info

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Puno. If your accommodation is on the outskirts, you must travel to Calle Jirón Arequipa, near Plaza de Armas.

Pickup is not available from GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, Pacha Confort, Mirador del Titikaka, Hotel Wisny, Jose Antonio Hotel, Taypikala Hotel, Pumakala Hotel, Atoja Chucuito Hotel, or any accommodation on the Uros Islands.
