Tour Details

After hotel pickup in Puno at the scheduled time, we will go to the dock for our boat. Get ready to discover the famous Uros Islands!

We will board a traditional reed boat designed by local indigenous communities. As we tour Lake Titicaca, we will learn how these boats are constructed.

During the hour-long journey, we will observe endemic birds and enjoy the beautiful views until we reach the artificial islands of the Uros, which are made from the same material as the boats.

Upon arrival, we will take a walking tour of the islands to learn about the locals' lifestyle, traditions, artisan work, and customs. It promises to be a memorable experience!

After an hour and a half, we will return to the boat and head back, dropping you at your hotel by 12:30 pm.

Pickup Info

This tour includes pickup from hotels in the center of Puno. If your hotel is on the outskirts, please go to Calle Jirón Arequipa, near Plaza de Armas.

Note that pickup is not available from GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, Pacha Confort, Mirador del Titikaka, Hotel Wisny, Jose Antonio Hotel, Taypikala Hotel, Pumakala Hotel, Atoja Chucuito Hotel, and any hotels on the Uros Islands.
