Whale Watching in Patagonia

After meeting at the scheduled time on Calle José Nogueira in Punta Arenas, we will transfer to Carrera Bay, where we will board a boat and set sail on the waters of the Strait of Magellan.

During the first part of the boat trip, we will enjoy the sunrise over Tierra del Fuego and Fuerte Bulnes, the first Chilean construction on the Strait of Magellan. The warm glow from the rising sun will enhance the experience.

We will pass in front of Cape Froward, the southernmost point on the mainland of America. From the boat, participants will see elephant seals and sea lions resting on the rocks. There will also be opportunities to admire humpback whales in these protected waters, part of the Francisco Coloane Marine Park. The tour will approach the glaciers of Santa Inés Island.

Around midday, we will have a tasty lunch on board the boat before slowly making our way back to Punta Arenas, appreciating the landscapes of this remote part of Patagonia along the way.

The tour concludes at the original departure point.
