San Lucas Island National Park Day Trip

When making your booking, you'll be able to choose one of the following day trips to the San Lucas Island National Park. Both day trips start at the scheduled time from the ICT tourist dock in Puntarenas and include transfers in a speedboat, a guide, tickets, and lunch.

San Lucas Island tour (6 hours 30 minutes)

We'll see you at the meeting point. After a safety briefing, we'll set off on the speedboat through the Gulf of Nicoya and the Puntarenas mangrove forest. We'll have the opportunity to spot dolphins during our crossing.

Upon arrival at San Lucas Island, we'll explore its nature and history, including visits to its chapel and the historic old San Lucas Island prison. Afterward, we'll proceed to Esmerelda Beach, where you will have 2 hours 30 minutes of free time to relax and enjoy. A lunch of traditional local dishes will be served.

We will return to the Puntarenas dock, arriving at 3 pm.

San Lucas, Negritos and Cedros Islands tour (8 hours 30 minutes)

If you select this option, we'll first sail through the Gulf of Nicoya, observing the mangroves and dolphins. At San Lucas Island, we'll take a guided tour to explore various nature spots and the history of its chapel and old prison.

During the speedboat transfer, we'll conduct an albatross watching tour. We'll then visit the Negritos Island Biological Reserve to see monkeys in their natural habitat. Our next stop will be Cedros Island, where you will have 2 hours of free time to relax on the beach and select a lunch option from chicken, tuna, or whole fried fish with a side dish.

We'll return to the dock in Puntarenas, arriving at 4 pm.
