Hornaditas Trip
We will depart from your hotel at 9 am for a trip through the landscapes of northern Argentina.
The first stop will be at Quebrada de Sapagua, where we will take a one hour trek to see its rock art. We will explain the meanings of these images and provide a historical overview from the Inca period to the arrival of the Spanish.
Near Sapagua is the community of Hornaditas, where inhabitants will invite us into their traditional homes. They will explain their main customs and traditions. We will also learn to operate their looms and bake their cakes.
Additionally, we will share a traditional lunch with the community, featuring local gastronomic specialties. Throughout the meal, the hosts will share anecdotes about life in this area of northern Argentina.
After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Purmamarca, with an arrival time scheduled for 6 pm.
