Hornaditas Trip
We will depart from your hotel at 9 am and embark on a journey through the landscapes of northern Argentina.
The first stop will be at Quebrada de Sapagua, where we will take a one-hour trek to observe its famous rock art. We will discuss the meaning of the images and the area's history from the Inca period to the Spanish arrival.
Near Sapagua is the community of Hornaditas, where residents will welcome us into their traditional homes. They will explain their main customs and traditions, and we will learn to operate their looms and bake their cakes.
Additionally, we will share a traditional lunch with Hornaditas community members, featuring local gastronomy. Between courses, the hosts will share anecdotes and facts about life in this region of northern Argentina.
After lunch, we will return to your hotel in Purmamarca, with an arrival time of 6 pm.
