Purmamarca Hiking Activity at Night

At 7 pm, we'll set off from the Church of Purmamarca on our nighttime hiking activity through this town in the province of Jujuy. The beauty of the Andean sky awaits.

During the hike, we'll learn about the local culture as we appreciate the cultural identity of the quebradeña, formed over more than 10,000 years. We will pass by the cemetery of Purmamarca and discover traditions linked to the celebrations of the dead that take place every November.

The route includes numerous archaeological findings that enhance our understanding of Purmamarca's history. As the sky is covered with stars, we will learn stories related to Andean cosmovision.

We will discuss the ancestral knowledge of the Purmamarca people, known for guiding walkers through the Chakana and other hills.

Our nighttime hike will conclude back at the meeting point, where we will say our goodbyes at 9 pm.
