Purmamarca Hiking Activity at Night

At 7 pm, we'll set off from the Church of Purmamarca on our nighttime hiking activity through this town in the province of Jujuy. The beauty of the Andean sky awaits.

As we watch the stars, we'll learn about the local culture. Our hike begins in front of the church, appreciating the cultural identity of the quebradeña. We'll then pass by the cemetery of Purmamarca, discovering traditions linked to celebrations of the dead that take place every November.

Our route will take us past numerous archaeological findings that provide insights into Purmamarca's history. As the sky is filled with stars, we'll learn stories related to Andean cosmovision.

Along the way, we'll discuss the ancestral knowledge of the Purmamarca people, who guide walkers through the Chakana and other hills.

We'll finish our nighttime hike back at the meeting point, saying our goodbyes at 9 pm.
