Quebrada de Humahuaca Excursion
Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Purmamarca and depart towards the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Our first stop will be Maimará, a village at the base of the Paleta del Pintor, known for its multi-coloured rock formations.
Next, we will head to Uquía, where you'll have free time to explore. Visit the Church of San Francisco de Paula to see its notable paintings of "Ángeles arcabuceros."
We will regroup and stop at the Tropic of Capricorn to take photos at the latitude markers before proceeding to Humahuaca.
In Humahuaca, the largest town in the valley, we will explore the historic centre and see key sites such as the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Tower of Santa Barbara. You will have an hour of free time for lunch (not included).
After lunch, we will return to Purmamarca, where you will be dropped off at around 4 pm.
