Quebrada de Humahuaca Excursion
Between 10:15 am and 10:30 am on the day of the tour, pickup will be from your hotel in Purmamarca, departing to explore the Quebrada de Humahuaca. The first stop will be Maimará, a village near the Paleta del Pintor rock formation.
Next, the tour proceeds to Uquía, where there will be free time to explore. Visitors are encouraged to visit the Church of San Francisco de Paula to see the "Ángeles arcabuceros" paintings.
The tour will then stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for photo opportunities by the latitude markers before moving on to Humahuaca.
Humahuaca, the largest town in the valley, features a historic centre with notable monuments like the Heroes of the Independence Monument and the Tower of Santa Barbara. An hour of free time for lunch (not included) will follow.
After lunch, the return journey to Purmamarca will conclude around 4 pm.
