Embark on a captivating journey as you explore the stunning landscapes surrounding the sacred Guane Guane Mountain. The adventure begins as we depart from Putre, setting our sights on a breathtaking peak nestled in northern Chile's Andean Altiplano.

Your day begins at 7 am with a convenient pick-up at your hotel in Putre, followed by a drive to Parinacota. In the vicinity of this quaint Andean village, the revered Guane Guane Mountain awaits. Let’s begin our exploration!

Upon arrival at the base of the mountain, we will set out on foot. This moderate-difficulty hike is expected to take approximately 9 hours and will lead us through spectacular vistas. Rising to an impressive altitude of 16,732 feet (5,100 meters), the summit offers remarkable panoramas.

Atop Guane Guane, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views overlooking Lauca National Park, where the expansive sights include Chungará Lake and the Cotacotani Lagoons, extending as far as the horizon allows.

Reaching the halfway mark, we will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch featuring sandwiches, dried fruits, chocolates, and juices before commencing our descent back to the trailhead.

After an exhilarating day of exploration, we will return you to your hotel in Putre, expected between 3 and 5 pm.
