Saigon History Full-Day Tour

Our full-day tour begins with hotel pickup at the scheduled time. The first stop is the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network used by Vietnamese fighters during the independence struggle. After a brief introductory video, you will explore the maze of tunnels, including living spaces, kitchens, and weapon factories, as well as mantraps and remnants of an American tank.

Following your exploration, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Saigon. The tour continues at the Notre Dame Cathedral, built by the French in the late 1870s, and the adjacent General Post Office, designed by Gustav Eiffel.

Next, visit the Jade Emperor Temple, known as one of Vietnam's top Taoist temples, featuring impressive statues and intricate carvings. You may choose to explore the Jade Emperor Temple or visit the War Museum or Reunification Palace.

The day concludes with a visit to the vibrant Ben Thanh Market, followed by a stop at a lacquer workshop to learn about traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship. The total duration is 8 to 9 hours.
