Mekong Delta 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho

The adventure begins with pickup at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. From there, we head to My Tho, exploring the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda and embarking on a river voyage around Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.

On Unicorn Island, you can stroll through orchards, sample tropical fruits, enjoy local Vietnamese folk music, and visit a fruit plantation. We continue through the Thoi Son canal, visiting a family-run bee-keeping farm, tasting honey tea, and attending a coconut candy workshop. Following these activities, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Later, we cycle around the charming Tan Thach village or relax in hammocks. The day concludes with our journey to Can Tho City for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh City

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. We'll then take a boat ride to explore the Lower Mekong River, visiting the Cai Rang Floating Market. This vibrant market provides a cultural immersion opportunity.

We will tour a noodle factory to see the noodle-making process. Afterward, we'll visit a fruit plantation to sample seasonal fruits.

Next, we will visit the Munir Ansay Pagoda, an important Khmer temple known for its unique architecture. After lunch, we will return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding the tour.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night's accommodation with breakfast in Can Tho, staying in a double room (either twin beds or a double bed) in a 2 or 3-star standard hotel.

This tour includes pickup from hotels in Central District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. You will need to indicate your hotel name when reserving. If staying outside the center, please go to the meeting point at 177 De Tham Street. At the tour's end, the drop-off will be either at 177 De Tham Street or the Ben Thanh Market.
