Would you like to learn how to make one of Vietnam's most traditional beverages? Then don't miss this coffee workshop in Hanoi.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi to start a coffee workshop. We'll head to a traditional shop, where you will learn about Vietnamese coffee, including the history of egg coffee, invented by Nguyen Van Giang in 1946 during the First Indochina War. Beaten eggs were used as cream due to a scarcity of dairy products, resulting in a popular beverage.

You will prepare six types of Vietnamese coffee, starting with egg coffee, where you'll beat the egg to create silky foam. Next, you'll learn the traditional pour-over technique that enhances the coffee's fruity notes and natural sweetness. You will also make coconut coffee, which offers a smooth and energetic experience.

Following that, you'll master the dark roast of brown coffee, known for its intense character. The salted coffee from Hue combines bitterness and saltiness in a harmonious way. Finally, you'll prepare a coffee cocktail with aguardiente, providing a delightful finish to the session.

Afterward, we will take you back to your hotel, concluding the experience in a total of 3.5 hours.
