Discover the largest pagoda in Vietnam and beautiful landscapes on a trip to the valleys of Trang An and Bai Dinh Temple from Hanoi.

Trang An and Bai Dinh Trip

We'll collect you from your hotel in central Hanoi early in the morning for our excursion to Trang An and Bai Dinh. After a two-hour road trip, we will arrive in Ninh Binh province. Our first stop is the notable temple of Bai Dinh, the largest pagoda in Vietnam, covering over 2000 hectares.

Your guide will show you the temple's interior, which features 500 Arhat statues, dedicated to followers who have achieved nirvana. You will also see the largest bronze Buddha statue in the country, measuring over 10 meters and weighing more than 100 tonnes.

After the temple visit, a local restaurant will serve a meal featuring regional dishes, such as goat meat with elderberry.

Next, we will proceed to Trang An, where you will board a boat to explore famous caves including Sang, Toi, Ba Giot, and Nau Ruou. During this scenic boat ride along the Halon river, our guide will share fascinating facts about the region.

In the mid-afternoon, we will return to your hotel in Hanoi, concluding the tour approximately 13 hours after departure.
