Discover the largest pagoda in Vietnam and its stunning landscapes on a trip to Trang An and Bai Dinh Temple from Hanoi.

Trang An and Bai Dinh Trip

The tour starts with a hotel pickup in central Hanoi early in the morning, followed by a two-hour drive to Ninh Binh province. The first stop is Bai Dinh Temple, the largest pagoda in Vietnam, spanning over 2000 hectares. A professional guide will lead a tour of the temple, featuring 500 Arhat statues representing followers who have achieved nirvana, and the largest Buddha statue in the country, made of bronze and over 10 meters tall, weighing more than 100 tonnes.

After the temple visit, enjoy a meal at a local restaurant, with options including traditional regional dishes like goat meat with elderberry. The tour then moves to Trang An, where participants will board a boat to explore the famous caves: Sang, Toi, Ba Giot, and Nau Ruou. The boat ride along the Halon river includes commentary from the guide, providing fascinating insights about the region's scenery, considered some of the most beautiful in Vietnam.

Approximately 13 hours after departure, the tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Hanoi.
