Discover the largest pagoda in Vietnam and beautiful landscapes on our trip to Trang An and Bai Dinh Temple from Hanoi.

Trang An and Bai Dinh Trip

We will collect you from your hotel in central Hanoi early in the morning for the excursion to Trang An and Bai Dinh.

After a two-hour drive, we arrive in Ninh Binh province. Our first stop is the temple of Bai Dinh, the largest pagoda in Vietnam, covering over 2000 hectares.

Your guide will show you around the temple, which houses 500 Arhat statues devoted to followers who have reached nirvana. You will also see the largest Buddha statue in the country, made of bronze, standing over 10 meters tall and weighing more than 100 tonnes.

Following this visit, enjoy a meal in a local restaurant, sampling traditional regional dishes such as goat meat with elderberry.

Next, we will proceed to Trang An. Here, amidst lush landscapes, we will board a boat to explore the famous caves, including Sang, Toi, Ba Giot, and Nau Ruou.

This boat ride will also lead us along the Halon River, allowing you to admire stunning scenery while our guide shares interesting facts about the Trang An region. We will return to your hotel in Hanoi around midafternoon, concluding the tour 13 hours after departure.
