What is the capital of Vietnam like at night? We'll uncover its charm on this night tour of Hanoi, an insightful visit around one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia.
Hanoi at Night
At the indicated time, our night tour of Hanoi will commence opposite St Joseph's Cathedral. Are you ready to discover the capital of Vietnam lit up?
After a brief introduction about the city's origins, we will start our route around the historic centre of Hanoi. Our first stop is an old cafe that has been operating for 3 generations, where participants can try a traditional Vietnamese coffee with egg.
We will then head to Ho Hoan Kiem Street, the shortest street in Hanoi at just 52 metres (170 feet), located next to the popular lake. Here, we will view the reflection of the Ngoc Son Temple, which is particularly stunning at night.
Next to Hoan Kiem Lake is the renowned puppet theatre on water. While we cannot enter, we will discuss this popular spectacle in Vietnam.
Afterwards, we will visit the Tien Ha Temple to admire its lighting and intricate details. This lesser-known Buddhist sanctuary offers an opportunity to try traditional Vietnamese cuisines, such as papaya wrapped in ham, around the temple.
In conclusion, after a 2.5-hour route, this night tour will finish in the historic centre of Hanoi.
