Lord of the Rings Tour
The countryside of New Zealand inspired Peter Jackson's vision of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, featuring mountains, hills, and lakes that evoke the film's mythical landscapes. The adventure begins with hotel pickup in Queenstown, proceeding towards Glenorchy, known for various filming locations.
Your exploration of Middle Earth includes a 45-minute jeep journey along the scenic road between Queenstown and Glenorchy, offering views of Lake Wakatipu and Mount Earnslaw, where the opening scene of The Two Towers was filmed.
You will visit the woodland valleys of Lothlorien in Paradise Forest, recognized for the iconic scene of Boromir's death and also featured in The Hobbit.
On the return to Queenstown, there will be a final stop at Ithilien Camp in Gondor. After experiencing the magic of the legendary saga, you will return to your hotel in Queenstown.
