Moke Lake Loop - Half-Day Guided Hike

Start your hike at the trailhead, firstly deciding to go in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction, because this is a loop track, either direction you choose takes you along the shores of the lake. Keep an eye out for the local horses, sheep and cows as your guide explains the workings of the farm.

The native flora is enjoyed halfway around, with beech, mountain wildberry and ferns all found on this trail. Following the boardwalks that cover the wetland sections of the hike with undulating sections scattered in between. Moke Lake Loop is roughly 6.5 km (4 miles) and is surrounded by a mountain landscape.

Concluding your hike, enjoy morning or afternoon tea, whilst watching over the paradise ducks on the lake. Before your guide transfers you back to your accommodation.
