Tour Description
On the day of the tour, we will meet up at 37 Shotover Street, depart from Queenstown, and travel to Skippers Canyon in our jeep. We will pass by Coronet Peak and reach the entrance of this canyon, stopping at Lighthouse Rock for panoramic views.
Next, we will visit the Skippers Suspension Bridge for photo opportunities and proceed to Skippers School to learn about the origins of the first gold prospectors' settlement through artefacts and photographs.
Afterwards, we'll visit Deep Creek for a gold panning demonstration. Nearby, we will see locations familiar from scenes of a very famous movie saga.
