On this hiking tour through the Rainmaker Conservation Park, we will cross suspension bridges in the jungle and see various species, including butterflies, frogs, and birds.
Tour Details
After hotel pickup, we will travel to the Rainmaker Private Reserve, 26 kilometers (16 miles) from Manuel Antonio. Prepare your hiking boots for an exploration of the jungle and its wildlife.
The hiking trail starts at the Seco River, within a tropical rainforest, where we will look for birds, amphibians, and numerous Morpho butterflies, known for their intense blue colors.
Next, we will arrive at the suspension bridges, connected by platforms in the trees. We will walk 250 meters (820 feet) across six bridges, enjoying views of local waterfalls until reaching Rainmaker's natural pool, where we can take a dip in the refreshing waters.
After exploring the park, we will hike to a 'soda tica', a traditional local eatery, for a Costa Rican lunch featuring a plate of casado. This includes gallo pinto (a mix of rice and beans) and a choice of chicken in tomato sauce, beef steak, pork chop, or fish fillet.
Finally, we will drop you off at your hotel after this 4-hour tour.
