We have different hiking itineraries in the Quero forest, starting and ending at Quero Park. Each tour includes an English-speaking guide, snacks, lunch, and access to Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo's facilities. Choose from the following hikes:

Quero Forest + Trout Hatchery (8 hours)

The hike begins at 9 am with a tractor ride to the starting point, passing through the pine forests of the Igualata moor. A snack break will occur during the hike, followed by a visit to a trout farm to learn about trout care and possibly try fishing. The tour concludes with a traditional lunch at the hacienda and a leisurely stroll around the area before returning to Quero.

Quero Forest + Cimarrón Waterfall (8 hours)

This adventure includes insights into the local chagra (cowboy) culture as we head towards Cimarrón waterfall, capturing views of the Tugurahua, Chimborazo, and Carihuairazo volcanoes. Upon entering the Quero forest, you'll observe local wildlife, and a snack break will be held at Toro Singuna. After the hike back, a traditional lunch will be provided at the hacienda before returning to Quero.

2-day tour in the Quero Forest

This excursion includes a scenic hike to Cimarrón waterfall on the first day, followed by a snack break and lunch by 1 pm. The afternoon is free to relax, and the day ends with dinner and a campfire gathering. On the second day, a hearty breakfast is served, with one and a half hours of free time before departing at 10 am at the Quero meeting point.
