Quero Horse Riding Tour

If you're in Quero, don't miss out on this horseback ride through Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba. You'll experience riding through various communities while learning about legends from the Ecuadorian province of Tungurahua.

Description

We'll meet at 9:30 am in Quero Park. From there, we'll head to a ranch to start the horseback riding tour around Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba. Upon arrival at the ranch, we will provide basic guidelines before you mount the horse. A snack break will be included to recharge in nature.

We will enter the communities of Cruz de Mayo, San Antonio, and Rumipamba, which surround Hacienda Hipolongo. During the ride, we'll discuss the daily activities of the Chagras, who are the farmers of the Ecuadorian Andes, mainly involved in livestock farming—an important local activity.

After enjoying the landscape surrounding Quero on horseback, we will return to the hacienda for a typical lunch that includes a starter, a main course, and a drink. Guests will have access to all facilities of the hacienda for independent touring.

After seven hours, we will return to the meeting point in Quero to conclude the tour.
