Quero & Traditional Hacienda: 3 Day-Tour

Day 1

We'll meet at 12 pm at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo for your welcome. You will have free time to settle into your room before the afternoon activities begin.

After a typical regional lunch, we will explore the hacienda's facilities, learning about farm animal life and product harvesting.

Next, we will visit Quero, including Quero Central Park and the Diocesan Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora del Monte, known for their historical significance. We will then head to Puñachizac to visit the artisan brewery La Quereñita, known for its potato-based beer.

The day concludes with dinner by the campfire at the hacienda, listening to stories.

Day 2

After breakfast, we’ll explore the pine forest and embark on a hiking route, observing wildlife such as eagles and wild cattle if fortunate.

Post-hike, a traditional local lunch awaits at the hacienda. You will also explore the Páramo del Igualata on horseback, with lessons provided for beginners. Enjoy views of volcanoes including Tungurahua and Cotopaxi.

We will finish the day with dinner.

Day 3

On the final day at Hacienda Hipolongo Cruz de Mayo, a breakfast leads into free time to collect your belongings. We will conclude the tour and say goodbye at 11 am.
