After picking you up at your hotel in Quimbaya at 9 am, we'll head south, leaving the town behind to enter the surrounding land full of farms and crops.

We'll arrive at the famous Granja de Mamá Lulú, a pioneer in ecological agrotourism not only in the region but in the whole country. The idea for this agricultural paradise came from two families, who have lived together on the farm for more than 30 years.

But who is Mamá Lulú? We'll begin this visit to the farm that bears her name with a brief introductory talk to learn about the history of the project from one of its founders and a relative of this icon.

We'll listen to the story in the auditorium, made with canes of guadua, a type of bamboo. Throughout the tour, we'll admire the different constructions designed by the family's architect, Hernando Hincapié.

Then, we'll go on a walk through the grounds of the hacienda while touring the organic coffee plantations and guadua forests, checking out the water harvesting systems. The entire farm is an example of sustainability and environmental recovery.

During the visit, we'll learn about the self-sustainable operation of the farm, which is supplied by the natural products from this place. Following the tour, we'll return to Quimbaya and drop you off at your hotel between 11 am and 12 pm.
