On this guided tour of the Barceló Rum Historical Centre, we'll visit the facilities of the most famous rum factory in the Dominican Republic. We'll also enjoy tasting.

Description

Located on the outskirts of San Pedro de Macorís, the Barceló Rum Historical Centre is the most famous rum factory in the Dominican Republic. At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the main entrance to begin our visit.

Our first stop will be the barrel room, where we will learn about the aging process of the rum, the cultivation of sugarcane, and the phases of distillation that contribute to the production of a high-quality product.

Next, we will move to the blending room, where we will see how the drink's consistency, taste, smell, and colour are finalized, creating a prominent international Dominican product.

The visit will then proceed to the bottling, labelling, and packaging rooms, providing insight into how the rum is distributed globally. You will discover how many countries this popular drink reaches.

Finally, after a tour of approximately one hour, we will conclude at the tasting bar, where you'll enjoy a tasting of your choice that you selected during booking.

Cocktail and two rums (1 hour and 15 minutes): you'll try a cocktail and two rums, a Gran Añejo and a Dark Series.Cocktail making + tasting of 1 cocktail and 2 rums (1 hour and 35 minutes): you'll make your own cocktail, enjoy another cocktail and 2 rums.Cocktail and four rums (1 hour and 15 minutes): you'll taste one cocktail and four rums, including Añejo, Gran Añejo, and Dark Series.Cocktail and three premium rums (1 hour and 45 minutes): you'll try a cocktail and three premium rums, including Imperial, Imperial Onyx, and Porto.
