Ecuadorian Amazon Multi-Day Tour

Day 1

Depart from Quito and first travel to Tena. A brief stop will allow you to drop off your luggage at the lodge and stroll along the Malecón. Breakfast will be at Baeza before continuing to Cotundo Canyon for a hike in the heart of the Amazon.

At Cotundo Canyon, witness a demonstration of the medicinal properties of the mud and have free time for a refreshing dip. After a lunch at your expense, explore the Jumandy Caves.

Return to the lodge in Tena for dinner at your expense before resting for the next day.

Day 2

Begin with breakfast at the lodge, then travel to Puerto Misahuallí for an encounter with capuchin monkeys. Next, embark on a boat ride along the Napo River, observing caimans, anacondas, and various bird species.

Visit the Shiripuno community to learn about their customs, music, dances, rituals, and crafts. After lunch at your own expense, return to the meeting point in Quito.

Accommodation

The tour includes one night's stay at Hosteria Las Heliconias or similar in Tena. Prices are per person in a double room, with a supplement for single rooms.
