Ecuadorian Amazon Multi-Day Tour

Day 1

Depart from Quito at the scheduled time to Tena. A brief break allows a stroll along the Malecón before dropping off luggage at the lodge. After breakfast in Baeza, we'll hike in Cotundo Canyon. Here, we'll see a demonstration of the medicinal properties of the mud and have free time for a refreshing dip. After a local lunch at your own expense, we'll explore the Jumandy Caves.

We will then return to the lodge in Tena for dinner at your own expense and rest for the next day.

Day 2

After breakfast at the lodge, we head to Puerto Misahuallí, 30 minutes from Tena. Our first stop is the beach of the capuchin monkeys. A boat ride along the Napo River offers chances to see caimans, anacondas, parrots, macaws, and toucans. We will visit the Shiripuno community to learn about their customs, music, dances, rituals, and crafts.

After lunch at your own expense, we return to the meeting point in Quito.
