Ayahuasca Ceremony at Templo Jempe

  • 13 Stunden
  • Geöffnet am Fr, Sa

Have you ever heard of an ayahuasca ceremony? As part of this activity, you'll discover this ancient ritual and connect with your inner self.

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at the main entrance of the Iñaquito Shopping Centre and head to Templo Jempe, a holistic medicine center.

We will embark on a 30-minute bus journey to our destination, where the unique experience awaits. Before the ceremony begins, there will be a brief introduction to the shamans of the indigenous communities. The ceremony will commence with a drink made from guayusa, a plant from the Ecuadorian Amazon known for its potential benefits.

Subsequently, the ayahuasca ceremony will begin, guided by a healer to facilitate your inner connection. The ritual includes a cleansing of bad energies with plants and natural snuff made from ground tobacco and medicinal leaves.

The experience will be enhanced by the sounds of Andean flutes and native instruments. Please note that the ceremony lasts all night. The following day, a menu featuring typical Ecuadorian vegetarian dishes and a cocoa drink will be served.

After a total of 12 and a half hours of activity, we will return you to the meeting point in Quito.
