Birdwatching Activity in Tandayapa

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from the Tribuna de los Shyris in Quito. We'll set off from here to Tandayapa, an area in the northwest with cloud forests where we'll do some birdwatching.

Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a refreshing fruit drink and go on a walk to see various bird species. We'll aim to spot birds such as white-throated quails, strong-billed nuthatches, brown finches and red-crowned warblers.

Participants will learn facts about each species and their behaviors, including their peculiar mating rituals. This area is known for featuring up to 20 different species of hummingbirds.

After our walk, we will have a traditional lunch that includes a starter, a main course, dessert, and water.

We will then return to the pickup point in Quito, arriving at 5:30 pm.
