Pasochoa Volcano Hike

Departing from Tribuna de los Shyris in Quito at 7:30 am, the Pasochoa Volcano Hike takes us to the north face of the mountain for a 4-hour ascent to the crater at 13,776 feet. Along the way, we encounter a variety of flora including alders, pumamaquis, palms, ferns, bromeliads, orchids, and heliconias. Once at the top, enjoy unparalleled views of the Antisana and Cotopaxi Volcanoes. Keep an eye out for Andean condors soaring above and savor a picnic before returning to Quito by 5:30 pm.
