Join us on an immersive bike tour through Quito, where we'll navigate from the contemporary landscape of La Carolina Park to the captivating colonial treasures nestled within the historic district.

Activity Overview

The adventure begins at the Quicentro Shopping Centre, where we’ll convene at the designated time to embark on our bike tour of Quito. Are you prepared to explore the capital of Ecuador on two wheels?

Initially, we'll traverse the financial district, surrounded by the modernity of La Carolina Park and its striking architecture. Next, we’ll immerse ourselves in the charm of the La Mariscal neighbourhood, noted for its elegant mansions dating back to the 1920s and 1930s.

Our journey will take us through renowned parks like El Ejido, a vital green oasis of the city, and La Alameda, a place where nature intertwines with historical significance. After a brief pause, we’ll arrive at the stunning historic centre of Quito, sure to leave you in awe!

During this segment of our tour, we'll take in the sight of the Basilica del Voto Nacional, one of the grandest neo-Gothic churches across South America. As we uncover the stories behind the iconic squares and churches, you'll hear local legends and intriguing facts about Quito’s most traditional lanes. It’s an experience that feels like stepping back in time!

We'll take a moment to indulge in a fine chocolate tasting at Yumbos Chocolate, paired with a refreshing coffee lemonade at El Cafecito—a delightful way to rejuvenate!

On our return journey to the starting point, we’ll pass through the bohemian La Floresta neighbourhood, known for its artistic vibe and stunning viewpoints that capture extraordinary cityscapes. You’ll want to have your camera ready to document these moments!

As we complete a distance of 23 km (14.2 mi), we’ll wrap up our journey back at the meeting point, concluding an enriching experience lasting between 4 to 6 hours, depending on the group's pace.
