Description

At the designated time, we'll meet at Plaza Foch in Quito to begin a hiking route to some of the most impressive waterfalls in Ecuador.

After providing safety guidelines, we'll take the Ecovía bus to Playón de la Marín, followed by public transportation to reach Loreto.

We will then start an approximately 40-minute hike through the landscapes of the Ecuadorian highlands, during which we’ll discuss local customs and traditions.

Upon arriving at the Tres Cascadas ('Three Waterfalls'), we will learn about their significance. A picnic lunch will be provided before continuing the tour.

We will then descend through the canyon to find the first waterfall after about 30 minutes of hiking through a small mountain forest. Opportunities for photos and scenic appreciation will be available.

If desired, you can take a dip in the refreshing water at the third waterfall, with time allocated for relaxation.

Finally, we will return to the starting point for transportation back to Loreto and then use public transportation to reach Quito, completing the tour in a total of 6 hours.
