Surfing Lesson at Double Island Point

We'll meet around 6 am on Rainbow Beach Road and travel in a 4x4 vehicle along the Australian coast. Heading down Great Beach Drive, we'll pass Rainbow Beach and admire its color.

Then we'll enter Great Sandy National Park and arrive at Double Island Point, a surfing paradise. We'll grab our boards and learn the basics of the sport on the sand.

When ready, we'll venture into the water to ride some real waves. Double Island Point is known for Australia's longest wave. After practicing our take-offs and bottom turns, we'll relax on the beach.

After the lesson, we'll return to the starting point in the 4x4.
