Surfing Lesson at Double Island Point

Meet around 6 am on Rainbow Beach Road and board a 4x4 vehicle for a drive along the Australian coast. The route includes a passage down Great Beach Drive and views of the spectacular Rainbow Beach.

We will enter Great Sandy National Park before arriving at Double Island Point, a recognized surfing spot. After grabbing our boards, we will learn the basics on the sand.

Once prepared, we will enter the water to ride some real waves. Double Island Point is notable for having Australia's longest wave. After practice, we will relax on the beach.

Following the lesson, we will return to the starting point in the 4x4.

Important Information

All participants must know how to swim.People suffering from an injury or medical condition will not be able to participate.
