Rambouillet Castle features exquisite chandeliers, elegant rooms, and luxurious furniture. Completed in the 18th century, it is now a significant monument in the Ile-de-France region.
Owned by Louis XVI since 1783, the castle has hosted prominent figures like Napoleon I, Charles de Gaulle, and Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. This ticket allows exploration of the castle's halls and rooms at your own pace.
Visitors will learn about significant international summits held at the castle, including the first G7 meeting in 1975 and the Kosovo peace negotiations in 1999.
The ticket includes access to the annexed buildings: the dairy of Queen Marie Antoinette and the House of Shells, a guest house decorated with shells. Additionally, access to the gardens featuring flowerbeds, parks, and a large ornamental pond with six artificial islands is included.

Rambouillet Castle opens daily except Tuesdays:
October 1 to March 29: 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 5 pmMarch 30 to September 30: 10 am to 12 pm and 1:30 pm to 6 pm
On December 24 and 31, the castle closes at 4 pm, and the last entry is 30 minutes before closing. Hours are flexible and subject to change.

Rambouillet Castle offers free admission for:
Young people from the EU aged 18 to 25.Children under 18, regardless of nationality.
Free admission requires visiting the ticket office with a certifying document of eligibility. Free entry is also available on the first Sunday of the month during specific periods and the third weekend of September.
