Polar bears, reindeers, foxes, elks... Discover incredible Arctic animals visiting Ranua Wildlife Park, the most famous zoo in Finland.
Why Visit Ranua Wildlife Park, the Zoo of Ranua?
Ranua Wildlife Park is one of the main tourist attractions in Finnish Lapland. The wildlife park is located in a beautiful natural space surrounded by forests and home to numerous species of Arctic animals.
Amongst the different wildlife living in Ranua Zoo, one of the favourites for visitors are without doubt the polar bears. These majestic species are not the only furry forest dwellers in the wildlife park: you'll also see brown bears in the winter months too!
With your ticket to the Ranua Wildlife Park, you can see animals like Arctic foxes, reindeer—having a break from their hard work with Santa Claus, obviously—and otters on your visit to the zoo. The park's aviary is also home to snowy owls and other birds native to Lapland.
As well as allowing you to meet the different wildlife species that live in the Arctic, Ranua Zoo also offers additional activities like skiing, enjoying a husky sled ride and driving snowmobiles.
