Ravenna's Mosaics
Ravenna, known as the city of mosaics, holds the richest collection of Early Christian mosaics in the world. This collection is part of UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.
With this ticket, you'll visit the main diocesan monuments of Ravenna, gaining access to 3 to 5 of the following attractions: the Basilica of San Vitale, the Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Archbishop Museum, the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, or the Baptistery of Neon.
Inside these sites, admire beautiful Byzantine mosaics from the 5th to 6th centuries AD and interpret the iconography representing various cultures and religions. You'll learn about the history of the city of Romagna, including significant figures and events such as the founding of Civita Classis.
