Ravenna's Mosaics

Ravenna is known as the city of mosaics, home to the richest collection of Early Christian mosaics in the world. This collection of monuments is a part of UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.

This ticket allows you to visit the main diocesan monuments of Ravenna, providing access to 3 to 5 of the following attractions: the Basilica of San Vitale, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, Archbishop Museum, Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, or Baptistery of Neon.

Inside, you can admire Byzantine mosaics, dating from the 5th to 6th centuries AD, and learn about their iconography and historical significance. These mosaics depict key figures and events in Romagna's history, including the founding of Civita Classis.

Depending on the booking option, access includes:

Ticket to 3 monuments: Basilica of San Vitale, Basilica of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, and the Archbishop Museum.Ticket to 5 monuments: Includes the above three sites plus the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and the Baptistery of Neon.

The ticket is valid for one day, allowing sufficient time (approximately three hours) to visit all five sites.
