Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time in front of Rheims train station. From here, we'll take a minibus to Épernay, a notable champagne-producing village in France.
In Épernay, we'll explore the Avenue de Champagne, home to significant cellars of brands such as Moët & Chandon, Pol Roger, Perrier Jouët, and Boizel. We'll also view the Dom Pérignon statue, honoring the monk who pioneered champagne-making in the 17th century.
The tour will continue to the vineyards surrounding Épernay, revealing facts about the 'champagne terroirs'. Then we'll visit the village of Hautvillers to see the church where Dom Pérignon is buried.
The next stop will be in Mareuil-sur-Ay, where we'll visit Le Clos Corbier, a traditional house to taste French champagne. The tasting includes a traditional lunch featuring three local dishes.
