Spontaneously erupting hot springs at Geysir, Gullfoss Waterfall, Thingvellir National Park... Discover the incredible natural landscapes of Iceland on this complete tour of the famous Golden Circle.
Golden Circle Tour Itinerary
On the day of your tour, meet your guide at the central meeting point in Reykjavik. You'll head east towards Geysir, known for its geothermal activity and geysers. Among them is Strokkur, which erupts a 15 to 20 metre-tall column of boiling water every 10 minutes. Continue to Gullfoss Waterfall, which plunges over 30 metres, providing a breathtaking view. After exploring Gullfoss, a lunch break will occur (not included).
Following lunch, visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic site of the Icelandic parliament (930-1798). Here, you will see Thingvallavatn, Iceland's largest natural lake, at the meeting point of the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Enjoy free time to explore this volcanic landscape before returning to Reykjavik.
