Golden Circle Tour Itinerary

On the day of your tour, meet your guide at the central meeting point in Reykjavík to begin your tour of the Golden Circle, a region in southern Iceland known for its notable natural sights.

You'll head east towards Geysir, renowned for its geothermal activity and geysers. Here, you can witness Strokkur, which erupts a column of boiling water 15 to 20 metres (49 to 66 feet) high every 10 minutes.

Next, proceed to the Gullfoss Waterfall, which plunges over 30 metres (over 100 feet). After exploring, you'll take a break for lunch (not included).

Post-lunch, visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and historical location of the Icelandic parliament from 930 to 1798. Here, you can see Thingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake, at the junction of the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates.

After free time to explore, you'll return to Reykjavík.

Please note, on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 am, this tour features a Spanish-speaking guide. At other times, the guide will speak English.

Lunch

Occasionally, the lunch break may occur near Geysir instead of Gullfoss Waterfall.
