Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Tour

An iceberg-filled glacier lagoon, waterfalls, and a traditional village: explore the icy landscapes of southern Iceland on this day trip from Reykjavik.

Description

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavik at the indicated time and set off to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Throughout the journey, you'll enjoy Iceland's unique natural landscapes.

Our first stop is at Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall with a 200-foot (60 metres) drop in front of a cave. Adventurous guests can go behind the waterfall for a view from within the cave.

Continuing on, we'll drive through the Fjadrargljufur River's canyons, before stopping in Vík í Mýrdal, a small seafront village. Here, you can view the natural rock formations off the coast and have time for lunch (not included).

The highlight will be the visit to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, an iceberg-filled lake with stunning landscapes. Explore the black sand beaches where, if you're fortunate, you might see some seals.

At the end of the day, we will return to Reykjavik, arriving approximately 14 hours later.
