Description

This tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Reykjavik at the specified time, followed by a scenic drive to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. During the journey, you will experience the stunning beauty of Iceland's unique natural landscapes.

Your first stop will be at Seljalandsfoss, a remarkable waterfall with waters cascading 200 feet (60 meters) in front of a cave. If you’re adventurous, you can walk behind the waterfall for an unforgettable view from within the cave.

Continuing onwards, we will drive through the Fjadrargljufur River canyons, making a brief stop in Vík í Mýrdal, a small coastal village. Here, you can see the natural rock formations off the coast and enjoy some time for lunch (not included).

The highlight of the day is a visit to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, a spectacular lake filled with icebergs set against rugged scenery. You can explore its black sand beaches and, if you’re fortunate, spot some of the local seals that inhabit the area.

After an enriching day, we will return to the minibus and head back to Reykjavik, arriving approximately 14 hours later.
