Tour Highlights

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 10 Skógarhlíð Street in Reykjavík and drive to the Kerlingarföll Highlands. On the way, we'll stop at Gullfoss, a waterfall in the canyon of the Hvitá River. Upon reaching the Base of the Highlands, we'll prepare for an excursion in the cove of Ásgarður.

Next, we'll drive to Hveradalir, known for its hot springs and colorful rock formations. Hveradalir, meaning “the valley of hot springs”, is among the largest geothermal valleys in Iceland. It features powerful natural hot springs to observe from a safe distance.

The valley is surrounded by rhyolite mountains in the Kerlingarfjöll mountain range. We'll embark on a 2-kilometer (1.2 mi) hiking route with a 500-meter (1,640 ft) altitude difference. After the hike, lunch can be eaten at a local restaurant or you may bring your own food.

Subsequently, we'll visit the Kerlingarfjöll Highland Baths to relax. After a day of hiking and adventure, we will return to Reykjavík, stopping at Geysir on the way back. This 12-hour activity concludes with a return to your hotel in Reykjavík.
