Kerlingarföll Highlands Tour

Tour Highlights

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 10 Skógarhlíð Street in Reykjavík and drive to the Kerlingarföll Highlands.

On the way, we'll stop at Gullfoss, a waterfall in the canyon of the Hvitá River. Once at the Base of the Highlands, we'll prepare for an excursion nestled in the cove of Ásgarður, at the edge of Kerlingarfjöll.

We'll drive to Hveradalir, known as “the valley of hot springs”, one of the largest geothermal valleys in Iceland. Powerful natural hot springs can be observed from a safe distance.

The valley is surrounded by rhyolite mountains from the Kerlingarfjöll mountain range. We’ll embark on a 2-kilometer (1.2 mi) hiking route with a 500 meters (1,640 ft) altitude change. After the hike, you can have lunch in a local restaurant or enjoy your own food.

Then we'll head to the Kerlingarfjöll Highland Baths for a dip. After a full day, we'll return to Reykjavík, stopping at Geysir on the way back.

This concludes the 12-hour activity, and we will return to your hotel in Reykjavik.
