Reykjanes Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Reykjavik between 8:30 and 9 am, we'll begin our day trip to the Reykjanes Peninsula, a natural area in southwest Iceland. Our first stop will be at Kleifarvatn, the largest lake on the peninsula, home to local legends.

Next, we will visit the Krýsuvík geothermal area, known for its colorful soil, hot springs, fumaroles, and maars. We will also explore Grænavatn, a green lake formed by volcanic eruptions.

Continuing to the coast, we'll enjoy the sea breeze and observe different bird species. Here, we will see Reykjanesviti, the oldest lighthouse in Iceland.

The last stop is the bridge between two continents, which spans the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia. We will return to Reykjavik, arriving around 2:30 pm.

Drop off point

During your reservation, select whether you prefer to return to Reykjavik or be dropped off at the Blue Lagoon. Note that this option does not include entrance to the spa, and you will need to make your own way back to Reykjavik, with public transport connecting both locations.
