The Reykjavik Tourist Bus offers an opportunity to explore the Icelandic capital at your own pace by allowing you to hop on and off at any of its 15 stops.

Reykjavik Tourist Bus Route & Stops

The bus route includes significant attractions in Reykjavik, with the full circuit taking 60 minutes. Recorded commentary in English is provided throughout the journey. Notable stops include Harpa, Hallgrímskirkja church, and Laugardalur Valley with geothermal pools. The stops are:

How does it work?

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from first use, allowing unlimited hop on and off during that period to explore Reykjavik's landmarks.

Operating times

From October to April: 9:30 am to 4:15 pm, every 45 minutes.From May to September: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, every 30 minutes.Buses run daily, except on 17 June, 6 and 20 August. The complete route takes one hour.

Select a start day during booking, with the service usable within 3 months.A voucher will be sent after reservation, which needs to be printed and presented on the first bus.Note: stop 9 is temporarily out of service.
