On this trip to Thingvellir National Park, you'll enjoy snorkelling in the Silfra Fissure and explore an underwater canyon.

Tour Details

We'll meet at the agreed meeting point in Reykjavík and head to the Silfra Fissure for snorkelling in clear waters.

Once in this volcanic area, we'll equip ourselves with all the necessary gear to begin snorkelling. You'll swim between the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia.

The Silfra Fissure is known for its water clarity, making it an ideal snorkelling location. As we swim, we'll observe canyon walls, cross Silfra Hall, the widest part of the rift, and see Silfra Cathedral, an impressive underwater site.

After snorkelling, we'll return to the surface at the Royal Blue Lagoon, where you can warm up with a hot chocolate and a snack. Finally, we will drop you off at the starting point in Reykjavík after a total of 5 hours.
