Waterfalls & South Coast of Iceland Tour
Your tour begins with a pickup from your selected meeting point in Reykjavik at the indicated time. We will depart the city to tour the south coast, admiring the lava fields at the foot of Hengill Mountain. On clear days, views of the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes and the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago are possible.
We will visit the Skógafoss waterfall, which rises over 196 ft (60 m) tall, creating a stunning cascade of water. You can enjoy the views and photograph the rainbows that may appear in sunny weather.
After this, we will head to the village of Vík, where you will have around 1 hour for lunch. Vík is the southernmost town in Iceland.
Next, we will explore the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, known for its basalt stacks that rise dramatically from the sea and listen to legends of trolls associated with the area.
Subsequently, we will visit Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can climb to reach the cave behind the falls for a unique perspective of the Icelandic landscape.
After 10.5 to 11 hours of exploring the waterfalls and southern coast, we will return to the pickup points in Reykjavik.
