At the selected time, we'll meet at the meeting point of your choice in Reykjavik. We'll board a speedboat that will take us to Faxaflói Bay. This area of the North Atlantic is home to one of the most impressive species of marine life, the humpback whale.

During our 2-hour speedboat cruise, we'll enjoy spotting the humpback whales that inhabit the waters around Iceland. What's more, we should be able to see other creatures that are frequently found in this area of the world, like killer whales and dolphins. Depending on the time of year that you choose to do your trip, you may see more or fewer animals - each journey is different!

This whale-watching tour is carried out aboard a 40-foot (12 metre) speedboat, which allows us to get amazingly close to the animals in complete safety. Our English-speaking guide will detail the most outstanding characteristics of the humpback whales, as well as tell us all about how they live and the importance of protecting these mammals.

If you do this excursion during the summer season, we'll approach Akurey Island, famous for being home to a large population of puffins, who come here to nest at this time of the year. As we bounce back over the waves, we'll enjoy unforgettable views of the coast of Reykjavik. Don't forget your camera!

The tour will come to an end at the original departure point.

We will embark on an exhilarating journey aboard a speedboat to witness the majestic humpback whales in their natural habitat in Faxaflói Bay. Each trip lasts approximately two hours and provides opportunities to spot various marine life in addition to humpback whales.

As most streets in the center are not accessible by bus, proceed to the indicated meeting point noted as "Bus stop" with an accompanying number. For instance, if you choose "8:30 pm - 1919 Hotel Radisson BLU (Please stand by for pickup at bus stop no 4 - Tryggvagata)", ensure you are present at 8:30 pm at bus stop number 4 (Tryggvagata).
