Enjoy the unique experience of whale watching in Faxaflói Bay off the coast of Reykjavik. Your speedboat will allow you to get close to the incredible humpbacks!

Whale Watching by Speedboat

At the selected time, we'll meet at the meeting point of your choice in Reykjavik. We'll board a speedboat that will take us to Faxaflói Bay, known for its marine life, especially the humpback whale.

During our 2-hour speedboat cruise, we'll spot humpback whales and possibly killer whales and dolphins. Animal sightings vary based on the season.

This whale-watching tour is conducted on a 40-foot (12 metre) speedboat, enabling close encounters with the animals safely. Our English-speaking guide will explain the characteristics and conservation importance of humpback whales.

In the summer season, we'll approach Akurey Island, known for its puffin population. Enjoy the views of Reykjavik's coast. Remember your camera!

The tour concludes at the original departure point.

When booking, you'll see a list of Reykjavik hotels with the nearest meeting point indicated. Since most central streets are not accessible by bus, you will go to the meeting point designated as "Bus stop" with a number.
