Explore one of Greece's best-kept secrets at your own pace with this full day trip to the island of Symi from Rhodes. Visit its historic monasteries, stroll through its charming streets and delve into its legendary mythology.

Symi Island Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rhodes and take you to Mandraki Port. There, you'll board a boat to Symi, part of the Dodecanese island chain.

Upon arrival, you'll have the whole day to explore the island at your leisure. Walk along the rocky coastline and admire the neoclassical buildings on the waterfront.

Symi is the birthplace of the Charities, known as The Three Graces, and is named after the nymph Syme. Greek mythology is intertwined with the culture of Symi.

During your visit, you'll have time to explore Ano Symi and the Knights of St John Castle. It is also recommended to visit the Monastery of St Michael the Archangel and the Monastery of Sotiris Megalos in Panormitis.

After your day on Symi, we will meet at the agreed time at Symi port to return to Rhodes. The excursion concludes with a drop-off at your hotel by approximately 5 pm.
