Picos de Europa Caving Trip

Looking for adventure plans in Asturias? In this activity of caving in the Picos de Europa, we will leave from Ribadesella to explore some caves of the Principality.

Picos de Europa Caving Trip

At the designated time, we will meet at the adventure sports centre located on Pico Street in Ribadesella. There, equipment including overalls, helmets, and other necessary safety gear will be provided.

Once prepared, we will take a short 10-minute walk to the Picos de Europa cave for the activity. Upon arrival, the instructor will provide a brief technical explanation of the route.

Following this briefing, we will begin an exciting caving route in the cave. We will enter through a crevice leading to the cave, where we will encounter several obstacles and discover stalactites, stalagmites, lava flows, and other geological formations.

At the end of the caving route, we will return outside and conclude this 3-hour activity in Ribadesella. Participants will be dropped off at the original meeting point, where changing rooms are available.
