Corda, Coculi & Figueiral de Cima Excursion

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande. We'll then depart by minibus towards Corda, a settlement in the interior of the island of Santo Antão.

Upon arrival, we'll take in the views from this village, situated in Cova Natural Park, and observe the volcanic crater of Cova de Paul and its vegetation.

We will embark on a three-hour hiking route, traversing dirt paths and agricultural terraces while exploring local crops.

After the hike, we'll return to the minibus and travel to Figueiral de Cima and Terrinha Vermelha, villages in remote areas of Santo Antão. Here, we will appreciate the green valleys and traditional houses of the Cape Verdean island before heading to Coculi.

In Coculi, we'll visit the banks of the Ribeira Grande River and learn about the town's history. The excursion concludes with a return to your hotel in Ribeira Grande, at approximately 1 pm.
