Paul Valley Hiking Tour

At 9 am on the morning of the tour, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande. From there, we'll travel in a comfortable minibus to Cova-Paul-Ribeira da Torre Natural Park.

During the tour, we'll hike through the famous Paul Valley, filled with vegetation on the slopes of the Cova de Paul crater, which has a diameter of one kilometer, making it the largest crater in the archipelago. Over three hours, we'll walk along the edge of this crater and view the agricultural fields in the area.

We will stop to enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean and explore the natural formations in this part of Cape Verde. Following a zigzagging path, we'll reach the park's lowest area, where we'll see vineyards, as well as sugar cane, banana, mango, avocado, and coconut plantations.

Before returning to your hotel, we'll visit a rum distillery to taste the traditional grogue, the famous rum of Santo Antão. The excursion will conclude around 2 pm.
