Paul Valley Hiking Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande. From there, we will travel by minibus to Cova-Paul-Ribeira da Torre Natural Park. During the tour, we'll hike through Paul Valley, featuring vegetation on the slopes of the Cova de Paul crater, which has a diameter of one kilometer, making it the largest crater in the archipelago.

Over three hours, we'll walk along the edge of this crater, enjoying views of the area's agricultural fields. We will stop to admire the Atlantic Ocean views and natural formations in this region of Cape Verde. Following a zigzagging path, we'll reach the lowest part of the park, where we will see vineyards and plantations of sugar cane, banana, mango, avocado, and coconut.

Before returning to your hotel, we'll visit a rum distillery to taste the famous grogue, the traditional rum of Santo Antão. The excursion will conclude around 2 pm.
