Paul Valley Hiking Tour

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande and travel in a comfortable minibus to Cova-Paul-Ribeira da Torre Natural Park. During the tour, we'll hike through the Paul Valley, featuring vegetation on the slopes of the Cova de Paul crater, which has a diameter of a full kilometer, making it the largest crater in the archipelago. Over three hours, we'll walk along the edge of the crater while admiring the area's agricultural fields.

We'll take breaks to enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean and the natural formations in this part of Cape Verde. Following a zigzagging path, we'll descend to the lowest part of the natural park to see vineyards and plantations of sugar cane, banana, mango, avocado, and coconut. Before returning to your hotel, we'll stop at a rum distillery to taste the traditional Santo Antão rum, grogue. The excursion concludes around 2 pm.
