Pinhao, Lombo Branco & Sinagoga Hike

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande at 9 am and head to Pinhao, where the hiking route begins.

At nearly 2,000 feet above sea level, we will explore the impressive vegetation of island of Santo Antão. The hiking route includes crossing streams and climbing hills, providing views of the green valleys. We will make stops to share interesting stories about the different towns on the island.

One of the towns visited is Lombo Branco, where we will observe local farmers, their variety of plants, and animals such as cows, goats, horses, and donkeys.

The final stretch of the hiking route leads to Sinagoga, known for its former Jewish community and natural pools, where you can swim in crystal clear waters if the weather allows.

We will return to the minibus and head back to your hotel, concluding the excursion around 1 pm.
