Kuldiga Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Riga and travel in a comfortable minibus to Kuldiga.

We'll stroll through the old town of Kuldiga, walking along cobbled streets and admiring the architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. During our walking tour, we'll hear some of the town's notable stories.

A highlight will be seeing the widest waterfall in Europe. The Venta Rapid stretches almost 250 metres wide and is located in the centre of Kuldiga. We'll also visit the Town Hall Square, the former house of the burgomaster, Stefenhagens of Kuldiga, and Duke Jacob's Pharmacy.

In the final stretch of the guided tour, we'll enter the Kuldiga Historic Museum, where we'll learn about the past of this Latvian town and see a reconstruction of a wealthy family's apartment from the early 20th century.

After visiting the museum, you'll have an hour of free time for lunch in a local restaurant. We will then meet to enjoy coffee in Curonia Café.

We'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Riga after approximately 11 and a half hours.
