Riga Art Nouveau Tour

Riga has the highest number of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe. The meeting point is at 3:30 pm by the Laima Clock.

The tour lasts two hours, during which we will explore Riga's impressive collection of Art Nouveau buildings, including the Opera House, the University, the German Embassy, and the Nativity Cathedral. Most of these structures were constructed between 1904 and 1914, highlighting Riga's prosperity during the Russian Empire.

We will walk along Alberta Street, known for its eight protected buildings, showcasing vibrant façades and intricate details.

We will also learn about Mikhail Eisenstein, a notable Art Nouveau architect. The tour concludes at the entrance of the Art Nouveau Museum at 4 pm.
