At the designated time, we'll meet and set off on our Soviet tour of Riga. Explore the city's darkest moments in history as we walk through its streets.

As we stroll along, we'll admire the iconic Academy of Sciences, known as Stalin's birthday cake. Discover the story behind its nickname.

Inside the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia, we'll delve into the conflict between Germans and Russians that turned Riga into a battleground during World War II, learning untold details of this period.

We'll also visit the monument in Laukums Square to pay tribute to the Latvian Fusiliers and discuss the controversies surrounding this sculpture.

Throughout the tour, we'll pass by significant landmarks such as the Monument to the Deportation, the Cathedral of the Nativity of Riga, the Parliament building, and the Memorial of the Barricades.
