Istrian Coast Day Trip
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Rijeka at 9 am. We will set off in a minibus, embarking on an exciting journey lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach our first destination, Pula.
Upon arrival at the largest settlement of the Istrian peninsula, a guided tour awaits to unveil the essential attractions of the area. Our first stop will be the renowned Roman amphitheater of Pula, considered the crown jewel of the city. This site stands as one of the most well-preserved Roman monuments in Croatia, which we will appreciate while learning about its fascinating historical significance.
Following our exploration of the amphitheater, we will meander through Pula's picturesque streets, passing by notable landmarks such as the Triumphal Arch of Sergi, the Temple of Augustus, a quaint Roman theatre, the Gate of Hercules, and the Twin Gates. Each location reveals a different aspect of Pula's rich heritage.
Our next destination is Rovinj, a medieval gem that is sure to captivate you from the moment you arrive. A leisurely walk through the old town will allow us to uncover its most iconic sites, including the Church of St. Euphemia and Marshal Tito's square.
You will then have 1 hour of free time to savor lunch at a local restaurant before we head back to Rijeka. We anticipate returning to your hotel by 3 pm.
